At the end of 2024, the Prague Guitar Quartet celebrated its 40th anniversary. Since 1984, the quartet has played more than fifteen hundred concerts at home and abroad, seven CDs and countless recordings for radio and television. Many new compositions by Czech and foreign composers were also composed for the ensemble. For 40 years, many outstanding guitarists have gone through the quartet: Khaled Arman, Jiří Voborský, Marek Janda, Jiří Mrhal, Jan Tuláček, Martin Sauer, Václav Kučera Today's line-up consists of Marek Velemínský, Eliška Holá, Patrick Vacík and Matěj Freml.
